Hi, I am a stay-at-home mom and I have 2 full-time positions available for children on 1st shift. I have 2 and a half years of childcare experience with children aged 6 weeks to 12 years, and I also have 4 children. I teach preschool everyday with themes every week. The children learn math, reading/language arts, science, arts and crafts, letters and numbers, music and movement, and outside play. We don't sit at the table all day doing worksheets, but a lot of hands-on activities. I have a Montessori-like environment where the children learn at their own pace with lots of love and patience. Older infants and toddlers have a variety of toys and learn colors, shapes, and simple art projects. Infants have a swing, exersaucer, lots of soft toys, and floor play for motor development. All children are cared for in a loving manner with lots of attention. We have a wooden playset in our large backyard, non-smoking home, and a very friendly environment.

Parents will provide food, diapers, wipes, extra clothes. I clean with environmentally friendly cleaning products. CPR and First Aid certified. I am willing to get an updated background check. I have one from a year ago that is clean. I do have a written policy, emergency contact and medical forms (allergies, medications, shot record). I do print out tax information at the end of the year for the dependant care credit. I am available from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday, Saturday if arranged beforehand. I am not accepting part-time children at this time. Will accept before/after school children who go to school at Sauder Elementary.
