Chachi is very sweet and smart, but he spent his first 5 months at the pound, so he still needs some training, especially when interacting with new people and other animals. He has responded well to behavioral training, but he needs just a little more work from a loving owner. He is very cautious around new people but once he bonds with you, he is your best friend forever.
He is neutered, has all of his shots, is housebroken, micro chipped, and crate trained, and is ready to settle into a home. We think he would do best with a person with no other pets or small children, unless you have experience with dogs and can work with him. Ideal pet for retiree or retiree couple!

PLEASE DO NOT FLAG THIS POST DOWN. Animal organizations in the area do not return our calls, or tell us they are full and cannot accept another dog. We appreciate the concerns about giving an animal away for free on Craigslist, but we also don't believe asking money for Chachi will deter a person intent on harming an animal. We love him and want the best for him, and flagging our post only delays his getting new owners who can give him the attention he needs. As we state above, we will require a potential owner to demonstrate that they are capable and fit to adopt Chachi.
