Imagine this.......you own a grocery store. Your grocery store doesn't accept food stamps, and sometimes you're closed. Sometimes shipments come in late and you might run out of things. You can't carry every food item in the world, after all, there are only so many shelves. I'm new on the scene, all I know of the grocery business is what is listed above, but I'm ready to reform these problems. Ah, but there is a catch. (There's always a catch)

Charitable Organizations? (Anywhere)

Would someone PLEASE help me understand about all these
organizations asking for help for the Holidays?

I have personally checked out one that says they are with the
Summit County Hotlines; and this organization could not
EVEN be found. Where are the donations going if they are
not listed?

I suggest EVERYONE that plans on donating, check their
so called "Non-Profit Organization" out for its validity.

There is one HIGH Name Organization that was caught by
20/20 going to the store for food. The individual made
purchases of shrimp; lobster, etc. and then they stopped
at their home before returning to the Organization with the
food they purchased for it. Shrimp and Lobster sure
wasn't on the menu for the needy people!

If you are a valid non-profit organization, give me your ID#!!!!

I was looking through my email when I came across an investment advice letter I wanted to share an excerpt from. The letter critisizes an unnamed California Representative for a piece of legislation making it's way to Capitol Hill. The excerpt reads as follows: (Thanks to a representative from California (there�s a surprise), legislation is working its way through Capitol Hill that would force employers to pay an employee for up to five days worth of sick leave if the \ worker is diagnosed with ANY infectious disease.
