There's also a small backyard and a real nice side yard that is just the right length for cornhole. There are two other roommates. Both are females, both are college students. One a graduate student, one finishing up her last year as a pre-med major. Both attend KSU. Both are extremely respectful individuals, are very serious students, and are not into the party scene. Though on occasion they do go out, but mainly on weekends and there are no issues with noise or unexpected house guests.

The house is huge. Living room. Kitchen. Dining room. 1.5 bath. Basement and Attic for storage. You would have the master bedroom, with a half bath. Shower is shared. There is a fenced back yard, with a fire pit and even pits for playing horse shoes. Great for entertaining friends.

Rent is $650 a month total, but is split three ways, which breaks it down to $216 and some change. Then we split all utilities three ways. Utilities include, cable/internet, electric, water/sewage, garbage pick up, gas, and electric. The month of October only cost $290 for each of us! There are two cats that live here. Cats and dogs ARE welcome in this house. The house is located just off exit 29 on I-76 and is only minutes from both the UA and KSU main campuses. This is an excellent location for students!

The house is furnished... And the bedroom you're moving in to can be furnished as well.. I bought the hardly used furniture from a previous roommate that was a 36 year old pilot from Georgia. He was always gone and hardly slept in the bed. The bed is a queen, with a frame, mattress and box springs. There is a dresser, night stand and lamp. I will be willing to sell it for $250 or even $200, for everything!

I need people to come out ASAP and look at the house and let me know if they're interested. I'll be moving out December 10th. And the new roommate will be able to move in any day after that. 34 year old guy with 11 year old son (whom I have joint custody of so he is at the house 3 or 4 days per week) a great kid and easy going. The house was built in 1980 has diswasher, stove and fridge and a dry basement.

Would be a month to month lease. $300 rent, $300 deposit. I would need to run a background check (since I have my son) would also need to know that your guests are drug and felony free.

It is a bad economy and this is a great way to cut expenses by taking on a roommate. It will help me and it will help you ($300 is way less then half the expenses of the house) so it is a bargain.

I'm currently residing in a 2.5 bedroom apartment with one roommate. I'm occupying one of the full beds, and he is in the .5, which is essentially a converted office. It's a very spacious apartment, with a rather gigantic dining room and living room. We're located right in between Market and the far western end of Tallmadge Avenue. The building is about a block away from a rather neat part of Market, featuring a few coffee shops, restaurants (delicious, delicious Chipotle), a record store, a Walgreens, and like five banks for some weird reason. It's a pretty convenient area. The building itself is old (1920s-ish) but seems to have been fairly well maintained. The hardwood floors in all the rooms are in good repair, and creaking is at a minimal. The room currently available is also off to the far end of the apartment, near the kitchen and away from the living room, so in terms of sound carrying, it's pretty much the choicest area of the apartment. The kitchen is fairly nice, and we have a huge pantry, as well as a bunch of large closets and a storage room on the first floor of the complex, so having a lot of stuff is not a problem. We're on the third floor, and we have an incredibly excellent balcony.

As far as the roommates go: You'll have me, a 21 year old male who goes to school (Kent right now, probably switching to Akron next year) for Computer Science, and works 20-30 hours a week. I'm virtually never here during the day, except on weekends and during breaks from school. I do stay up a bit late though, as I am very irresponsible and hate having a full nights' sleep before morning classes. I keep my part of the apartment clean, and contribute to the rest of it not being a huge mess. I read a lot, play computer games, bike (occasionally) and write.

The other roommate is a 24 year old male who goes to school (Akron) and works full time at Best Buy. This means for general apartment stuff we get a ridiculous discount. It's glorious. He's at work or school most of the time as well, and when he's here he plays video games and does various computer stuff.

We generally hang out in the living room, which is where we have a fairly nice home theater set up. There's a bit of smoking going on, but only on the balcony and never indoors. As far as drinking goes, we don't mind if you do, but moderate is important. We probably won't keep a huge amount in the house, but just like any other kind of food or beverage, its your's and only your's unless we all go in on something together.

Things we expect:
1) Be a cool person.
2) Don't be hugely messy.
3) Try and have at least one reference
4) Pay rent on time

rent is $275 + electricity + internet/cable. We currently have Roadrunner, so that adds about $20 a month per person. Electricity isn't too much, but it varies too much to give a concrete number. Expect that to be about $20-40 extra, if that.
