I'm subleasing my College Towers Studio Apartment (www.kentapartments.com) $320.00 is your rent with all utilities included. I was able to use someone else's wireless internet my entire stay there. The apartment consists of just a bedroom and a bathroom, its almost dorm-style living. Its VERY close to the Kent State campus, I was able to walk to class everyday. There is parking included in your rent, this parking is as close to campus as the "Ice Arena" lot. The apartment is ON the University bus route. The building itself has a gym, pool, and computer lab for you to use free of charge. I cleaned the apartment myself so I know its spotless. I was able to fit a futon, desk, night stand, mini fridge, and bookshelf in mine with plenty of room to spare. The closets are pretty large for the size of the apartment. Theres a built in A/C unit and free heat and electricity. The floor I lived on was relatively quiet and I never had any problems with neighbors.
The lease itself is UP on June 1st. You could live rent free until Dec 1st. You could move in with no $$$. I wouldn't be moving because the apartment is so convenient but I've graduated and theres really no reason for my stay on campus. I've already moved to Akron so the apartment is move in ready once your application is approved by the Kent Apartments management company (applications can be found on their site listed above).
I'd really like to stop paying rent for an apartment I'm not living in so please reply to this posting with any questions and we can arrange a time to show the apartment.
