Product Description
Steinberg Groove Agent 3 is a plug-in or standalone application that provides ready-to-go drum rhythms with only a few mouse clicks. The program can play the most popular and influential styles from the past fifty years of music history inside most host application. Based on a huge library of quality drum and percussion samples, most of which were recorded especially to analog tape, the software places a top studio drummer on call.
Creating a drum track couldn't be easier - the user chooses a music style and a drum kit. There are settings for the amount of drum room ambience, fills and half-time breaks required for the track. Groove Agent 3 can play at over two dozen different complexity levels, allowing the user to create the right mood with a rhythm track simply by moving a slider. Volume, ambience, decay, tuning and velocity response can be adjusted individually for each instrument.
Two new "players" (called agents) have been added to the original player. Special Agent adds a realistic sounding studio drummer, complete with additional acoustic drum kits, while Percussion Agent specializes in percussive grooves and beats. A Dual Mode allows two of the three agents to be active simultaneously.
