This vintage shaker jar, made by the Hazel-Atlas Co., held Samae Miracle Cleansing Powder which was used to clean and polish copper and stainless steel in the 1940s-1950s. It has a red plastic screw-on lid with holes in it for shaking.
The bottom of the jar is marked with the numbers of 5051 and F4, and the Hazel-Atlas makers’ mark which consists of a large capital letter “H” with a smaller capital “A” positioned underneath the H (not to be confused with Anchor Hocking which has an anchor and an "H"). The glass shaker is in great condition with no cracks or chips. Its red lid screws on and off easily, but the perforated top is dry from age and has a little damage from having the powder residue sit on it for years.
Measures 5-1/2" H x 3-1/2" in diameter, and it was Made in the USA!
