This would be a 3 way even split.
You would get 1/3 as the financial backer
we each get 1/3 as the boots on the ground. I do very American foods. Smoked meats, BBQ, Wings, fries, etc. She does authentic latin foods like Tacos, quesadillas, empanadas, Tortas, Etc.
The big benefit to doing a knockdown vs a truck/trailer is we can go places they cannot. knockdowns are more work as they have to be setup and taken down daily but the more ya do it the faster ya get and you figure out ways to make it easier and faster. We already have a couple high traffic areas we can setup at. Once we get a back I will start booking us into events like fairs, etc as well.
Other upside is time to get going. a Knockdown is fast. 3 weeks from funding to open or less. only thing that would hold it up is the inspection but they are pretty good about being out within a few days of calling for one.
and Last big upside is no expensive food truck with all the potential breakdown repairs. food trucks ready to go run 30-90k easy and even food trailers run 25-45k. we can do a knockdown for 25k and that includes a little advertising money as well.
We already have our LLC in place as well as a couple DBA names we use for specific events as well as to cast a wider net when people do searches.
