Vulkan REI Services is seeking a Junior Project Manager to assist with managing residential renovation projects throughout Northeast Ohio.
This is an ideal position for someone who has experience working for a construction company in a management, superintendent, foreman, coordinator, or project support role and is looking to grow into a larger project management position.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate subcontractors and keep projects moving on schedule
* Visit active job sites and perform quality inspections
* Communicate with subcontractors regarding scheduling, delays, and project requirements
* Identify potential problems before they become major issues
* Document project progress with photos and notes
* Work closely with senior project management to keep projects on track
Requirements:
* Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
* Construction industry experience preferred
* Previous experience working for a construction company in a management, coordinator, superintendent, foreman, or similar role preferred
* Basic understanding of residential construction processes
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to solve problems independently
* Ability to manage multiple moving parts without constant supervision
* Comfortable speaking with customers, contractors, suppliers, and inspectors
