An iridescent mother-of-pearl shell bottle signifies Florida as the sea shell headquarters of the world, aptly shown on the reverse side of the decanter in yellow and black! Also shown on the backside is an outline map of Florida against a blue world. There’s also a paper label for “Shell’s City Weinkles Liquor Stores” which was a customer-supplied label to Jim Beam.

This charming ceramic decanter, depicting a large fan scallop shell, is from the makers of Jim Beam Whiskey. It stands approximately 9-3/4” tall and 7” wide. The cork stopper is in excellent condition. The original red US Internal Revenue tax strip is still present on the decanter, as well as a State of Florida liquor excise tax sticker. The gold foil strip on the front of the decanter reads Beam 86 proof 110 months old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.

Part of their State Series, this beautiful bottle is a creation of James B. Beam Distilling Co., KY-DRB-230. The bottle is Genuine Handcrafted Regal China 1968, C. Miller, Regal China Corporation; 145, Liquor Bottle.

This is a wonderful bottle with no chips or cracks, and bottle collectors, shell lovers, or those who hold a sense of pride for the State of Florida would appreciate this unique decanter!
