Wow, what a beauty...surprisingly lightweight, it’s perfect for mid-century décor and could be used as an insulated ice bucket or serving bowl! The lid has a hammered slash pattern and twisted loop handle to allow for a solid grip. The insulated base has a 1/2” small pedestal, hammered slash pattern, and 2 twisted loop handles.
The exterior and interior are dent free, which is highly unusual for vintage hammered aluminum containers. The rim of the lid has a small area of white rust (aluminum oxide), and the insulated interior has very minor markings caused by utensils. Neither takes away from the overall uniqueness or usability of this piece!
The interior is 4” deep. It’s 7” high to the lid x 12” wide handle to handle. The 3 loop handles measure approximately 3” wide. It’s in very nice vintage condition, and it was Made in the Italy!
