This lovely vintage 10" porcelain doll is Gorham’s Around the World 5th Anniversary doll. She is dressed in a traditional Italian costume with wonderful detail to the trims used on her dress and blouse. Notice the jacquard dobby "diamond" design fabric of her blouse. Not sparing any expense are the jacquard floral ribbon in her skirt and the red 'gimp' around her hat. She has bloomers and a tulle petticoat. Her shoes are painted on. Original tags are enclosed; Item No. Italy-VT688. Box is damaged at the top. The doll is in good condition. This is a great doll with which to start an international costume doll collection. Asking $10 cash.
