Manufactured in the 1940s-1950s, Federal Glass created these beautiful horse heads to hold small candies, sealing each base with cardboard. Now they would be wonderful bookends or Art Deco equestrian accents for horse lovers!
Hollow on the inside and made of clear pressed glass, they are 5-1/2” tall x 4-3/4” long x 3-1/4” wide, and each weighs a hefty 1.9 lbs.! Each has a flea bite chip on the bottom of their base and a tiny bubble chip on their mane. Neither flaw detracts from these very cool pieces! Otherwise, they are in like-new condition with no cracks or repairs. (Note: the red in the pictures is a red chair reflection and not on the glass.)
Artistically Made in the USA by the Federal Glass Company of Columbus OH!
