There are 2 sets of stationary ceramic rods to sharpen and get the right angle for your knife blade edges – the dark is for coarse and the white is for fine. The ceramic rods are molded into the over molded v-notch grip base, with its built-in feet for stability, which gives a secure grip while sharpening.

There’s a lanyard hole which allows for easy attachment to cord or string. Lightweight and in barely-used condition.
