I listed everything that I did to refurbish the trailer 2 years ago....all parts replaced were purchased brand new.....its long but please read before asking questions. Thanks
I purchased this camper trailer frame 2 years ago. 4" channel frame and cross members. ( not lightweight angle iron like the cheaper local store bought trailers) I wanted something sturdy but lighter weight so it could tow behind my car. Approximate total weight is around 900 lbs. It is a larger trailer that is easy to pull behind a car.
I painted the frame with oil base paint
Put on a new treated wood deck with new d ring tie downs,
new lights all the way around ( rear tail lights are led) All new HD gauge wiring
2 brand new trailer fenders( bolt on), 2 new trailer tires and 2 new rims.
Then I changed the inner and outer wheel bearings and grease seals( they did not need it but I wanted new for piece of mind)
It has a Dexter Torflex axle.....tag states 2700 lbs plus rims and tires. I looked elsewhere and some websites state 3000 lb axle. The most I had on it was my 1050 lb mower 2 times to cut my parents grass...the torsion axle did not move much with it on it. All 4 corners have a drop down adjustable leg for extra support when loading or unloading( see pic)...they fold back up when not in use.
Comes with 2 wood plank ramps 11" wide x 6' lg
2" ball with a surge brake coupler....I was told by the owner that the brakes worked. There were no brakes when I removed the drums after getting home. I did not need them so I never replaced them....you can if you want to.
New tires are st175/80/r13 8 ply trailer tires.....the trailer and tires only have 300-400 miles tops on them....only used the trailer about 8 times.
No spare tire.
I did not use it like I thought I would. I have a car trailer and flatbed truck so they get used instead. That is the only reason why it is up for sale.
