We are seeking an experienced and reliable Hardscape Laborer / Equipment Operator to join our growing team. This position involves hands-on work in outdoor construction projects including patios, retaining walls, French drains, and concrete preparation (etc.). The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating various types of equipment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare sites for hardscape installations (grading, excavation, base prep)
Assist with and install retaining walls, patios, and other hardscape features
Perform concrete prep work (forming, grading, base installation)
Operate equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, and other machinery
Read and follow project plans and layouts
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Work efficiently as part of a team to complete projects on schedule
Required:
Prior experience in hardscaping and/or equipment operation
Ability to operate skid steers, excavators, or similar equipment
Knowledge of proper grading and base preparation techniques
Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Valid driver's license
Preferred (but not required):
Experience with concrete finishing
Ability to read blueprints or site plans
