5R55E Ford automatic transmission, 4x4, used with 4.0l engine. Came out of 2003 Ford Explorer Sport 2 door 4x4. Gone through, ready to install. My loss, your gain.

Fits many Fords with 4.0l engine and 4 wheel drive, such as 2001 - 2005 Explorer, Explorer Sport and Explorer Sport Trac, 2001 to 2011 Ford Ranger, and 2001 - 2010 Mazda B4000. May also fit Mercury Mountaineers, but you'd have to check on that.

Will only interchange with other 5R55E transmissions. If yours doesn't have the "E" on the end (or has another letter), the electronics will be different.
