From either the 1930s or 1940s, this is a very cool 8-piece socket-wrench kit! It has its own green metal storage case which houses both the 6 hex-drive sockets and the ratchet, all in one place. The 6-1/2” long x 1/2" wide L-shaped wrench fits securely in a channel on the top of the case, where it’s always easy to find.
The SAE sizes of the 6-point hexagon sockets are as follows: 7/8, 3/4, 11/16, 5/8, 9/16 and 1/2. The sockets sit nicely in the storage tray, easy to access by just moving the “handle” to the left. Move the handle back in place and it closes securely. Pat. 1788535 is stamped on the bottom of the storage tray.
7” long x 1-3/8” wide, it’s in good antique condition and was Made in the USA by/for Duro Metal Products Company in Chicago IL!
