Up for sale is a fully tested PlayStation 2 Fat console bundle. This is the highly desirable SCPH-39001 model, known for its reliability and compatibility with internal SATA hard drives.
This setup has everything you'll need to start modding and play your games off the hard drive except a SATA HDD/SSD and Physical games.
You will have to source your own backups or .ISO images to take full advantage of the FreeMcboot software.
What’s Included:
Console: Sony PlayStation 2 Fat (Model SCPH-39001, NTSC U/C). Tested, semi-working besides the disc drive issue, and boots perfectly into the system menu and soft-mod software.
The disc drive functions intermittently, it needs a new belt (easy fix, I just don't use the PS2 anymore)
RGEEK SATA HDD Adapter + 3D Printed HDD/SSD 2.5 bracket. This is installed in the network expansion bay, allowing you to easily add a modern 2.5-3.5 SATA hard drive or SSD to load backups directly from the internal drive.
2x 64MB Free MCBoot (FMCB) Memory Cards: Updated to v1.966. These come pre-loaded with essential programs (like uLaunchELF, Open PS2 Loader / OPL, etc.) for anyone looking to easily soft-mod their console without opening it up.
1x 256MB High-Capacity Memory Card: For massive save-game storage.
1x Original Sony DualShock 2 Controller: Functionally tested, but in rough cosmetic/physical shape.
2x Generic Brand Controllers: Brand new, work perfectly, and has little to none input delay like other Generic controllers.
Original PS2 AC power cord.
Standard AV/RCA display cable.
PS2-to-HDMI Adapter: Includes built-in resolution upscaling and a physical toggle switch to instantly swap between retro 4:3 and modern 16:9 aspect ratios. (Includes micro-USB power cable and HDMI cable).
